Established in 2005 by core members including KAIST-trained engineers, CORERIVER is a leading fabless semiconductor company to concentrate on touch sensors, security ICs, microcontrollers(MCU) to act as brain in home electronics, and so on.

Since the establishment, CORERIVER has been growing nearly double on average every year and has set the long-term goal at the sales of $1 billion in 2022.

Through the management efficiency program named [2022], all employees in CORERIVER have been removing 20% unnecessary part, supplementing 2% deficiency, and introducing 2% differentiation. They have an ultimate vision that their company will take off to a world-class semiconductor company superior to top semiconductor companies in Korea, America, and Taiwan.

Especially, having released “TouchCore” commercially from 2008 after long research and development of touch sensors that had been monopolized by worldwide top companies, in 2010 CORERIVER launched the first 96-channel single-chip large-area touch sensor in the world, and so won Jang Young-Shil Award and Venture Grand Prize. As a result, its source technology on touch sensors is considered outstanding internally and externally.

On the basis of core source technology like this, CORERIVER will lead Korea to an IT leading country through R&D and mass production of various useful products and applications for semiconductor industry.
